Yeah - just discovering the joys of iPhoto! I really like the way you can modify photos without destroying the original image. Trying to make the move (for more serious editing) to Photoshop Elements - which I'm finding more difficult after years of Paint Shop Pro....ah well, can't have everything!

My other tool of choice at the moment is Photomatix Pro - a nice app that helps expand the dynamic range of a picture, creating a better contrast between light and shadows than you'd normally get in a shot.

Thanks for looking!

In response to:Must try to get more photos onto Flickr!

Dude, are you using iPhoto?

I know it's not the most powerful image editor, but for cropping a adjusting levels it's fine, and you can get a plugin to upload files to flickr direct. Dead easy!

In response to:Must try to get more photos onto Flickr!

Hi FunkyFarmer,

Nope - flickr acts as a storage and display space for your photos - still do a lot of processing on my machine before uploading.

However, there are a lot of tools that allow you to play with images that have been uploaded....flickr toys, for example?

A lot of my friends have joined recently...they are really loving the idea of tagging, and getting/receiving comments - apparently, it's very addictive?!? :-)

In response to:Must try to get more photos onto Flickr!

Is flickr the complete package like editing ect as well as a remote host?
